Starting position

Telia Sverige AB decided to introduce SAP Treasury after a comprehensive selection process. A several-month analysis, development and implementation process followed. Together with the consulting partner alseda, it was possible to optimally map the treasury processes of the Group’s domestic companies in the SAP software.

Challenge

Particular attention was paid to the automated recording and positioning of international cash flows and the Group’s various hedging and financing instruments in accordance with the accounting requirements. With the implementation of SAP Treasury, Telia Sverige AB has now taken a decisive step towards the standardization of its system and process landscape in the financial sector and in IT processes.
